About the Accountant -

Coming to you from the Pacific Northwest, I am a renaissance woman who embodies the entrepreneurial and creative spirit of a small business owner.

Seen in this pic volunteering at the NW Tea Festival in Seattle, I am the founder and leader of Portland’s tea festival TeaFestPDX.

My accounting business represents my passion for helping small businesses succeed with the best possible bookkeeping help possible, and has been my primary career for 14 years. Prior to that I was a social worker in Portland working with people who are homeless. My clients benefit from this time working in the mental health field, and call me the “numbers therapist”. I like to say my right and left brain skills are nicely balanced.

I worked as a tax preparer for several years preparing individual and S-corporation tax returns, and I bring this experience to my bookkeeping work, ensuring the books are tax prep ready. I left the tax prep business behind though, choosing a less stressful path by focusing only on bookkeeping.

I love to hike, bike, and make candles with my side hustle business, Pine & Peat Candle Co. A business that came about during quarantine in 2020, my sister, mother and I combine our creative talents to bring high quality handmade candles to the world. Cheers to all the entrepreneurs in the world!
